Wet Lab Experience

I was privileged this week to attend a wet lab at the University of Adelaide to look beneath the skin on cadavers. As massage therapists we 'feel' muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones every day, but to actually see them and touch them, well that was something very special. We owe a great debt of gratitude to those people who donate their bodies to science so that I, and other health professional, can learn so much. The human body really is a complex machine, with all of its internal workings so finely tuned, and we all need to look after the one that we were given. Sorry, no photos allowed inside of the wet lab, so you will have to make do with these....
