Our mission is to provide quality therapeutic remedial massage treatments to our clients in an exemplary professional caring manner.
We engage our clients in each and every step of our treatment process from pre-treatment assessment, through the treatment and to post-treatment by offering some self-care tips, as we strongly believe in “The heart of healing lies in our ability to listen, to see, to perceive, more than in our application of technique” (Thomas W. Myers, the Author of Anatomy Trains)
We adhere to a strict draping protocol to respect each and every client's privacy.
We provide a safe, relaxing and hygienic environment for our clients.
Located at 55 Gawler Place, Adelaide, SA 5000, SA Remedial Therapy Clinic was established 20 years ago by Rob Stephens and Theresa Stephens, both professional remedial therapy practitioners who have held teaching roles at leading national massage institutions in Adelaide. As founders of the SA Remedial Therapy Clinic, Rob and Theresa have built a solid client base through their professional and high-standard practice, demonstrating a caring approach to all clients. Rob decided to retire after twenty successful years of practice and engaged in the successor recruitment process. Ying was identified from a dozen other candidates as Rob's successor and the new owner of the clinic. With full support from Rob and Theresa in the ownership transition, the SA Remedial Therapy Clinic turned a new page in its over twenty years' history from August 7, 2023.
Since becoming the new owner of the clinic, Ying has received strong support and trust from the clinic's long-time loyal clients, who tried the new therapist and have been regularly visiting the clinic ever since.
Located inside the SA Chiropractic Center, as a member of this professional and caring family, SA Remedial Therapy Clinic proudly welcomes all clients, both regular and first-timers, and continues to build a strong professional and friendly connection with all.

How do I know which type of treatment will benefit me the most?
The types of treatments listed on our website explain how each unique treatment benefits our body and overall wellbeing in their unique ways, but since our therapist has gone through all the required certification training, she actually incorporates all the techniques that best benefit the clients during the treatments. For an example, myofascial release techniques will be applied for clients who experience tight necks and shoulders, or those who experience constant headaches due to stress. Each treatment plan is made up after the communication between the client and the therapist based on the symptoms expressed by the client and visual observation and the manual palpation by the therapist. So, a client is only expected to communicate with the therapist how he or she feels, what issues they may experience with certain parts of their body, and what activities they have been engaged in terms of their self-care perspectives.
